With a diameter of only 11mm, these laser diode modules are ergonomically designed with a small form factor for use in applications such as industrial and medical alignment, low level laser therapy, inspection and sensing where a tiny package is essential to fit into very compact spaces.
They combine a high performance Ushio (ex Oclaro ex Opnext) laser diode with externally adjustable optics, a Panasonic aspherical glass lens, sophisticated electronics and rugged modular anodised aluminium and brass housing to provide a reliable, energy-efficient and precise laser source. A key feature is the brass lens holder which enables smoother, more accurate focusing by using a finer pitched thread.
